Hope springs eternal when the small-town local radio station in Baker City, Iowa finds itself in a depression-era pickle and needs to come up with an inventive way to avoid bankruptcy. Helmed by the creativity of director, Hunter Foster, we brought America’s favorite sport to life on the newly-revived turntable at Bucks County Playhouse. From splashy dance breaks to gorgeous ballads, the lighting popped this story off the stage. The skies were sunny, the laughs were rolling, and the hijinks were plentiful.
